17वी बाल विज्ञान कांग्रेस शुरु

अहमदाबाद (news)उपराष्ट्रपति हामिद अंसारी ने गुजरात के अहमदाबाद में आज 17वीं राष्ट्रीय बाल विज्ञान कांग्रेस का उद्घाटन किया।पांच दिवसीय इस कांग्रेस में दक्षिण एशियाई क्षेत्नीय सहयोग संगठन (सार्क) देशों के लगभग 100 बच्चों सहित 800 बच्चे भाग ले रहे हैं।इस अवसर पर श्री अंसारी ने कहा कि 17वीं कांग्रेस का विषय प्लेनेट अर्थ अवर होम एक्सप्लोर केयर एंड शेयर वर्तमान परिपेक्ष्य में एकदम सही है१ उन्होंने कहा कि भारत वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधानों में मित्न राष्ट्रो से काफी पीछे है और बाल वैज्ञानिक इस दूरी को पाटने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकते हैं। उद्घाटन समारोह की अध्यक्षता राज्यपाल श्रीमती कमला ने की१ उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस युवा वैज्ञानिकों की जिज्ञासाओं को शांत करने और समस्याओं पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करता है। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि मुख्यमंत्नी नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि बाल वैज्ञानिकों को जलवायु परिवर्तन की समस्या का समाधान ढूंढने की दिशा में विशेष प्रयास करना चाहिए। प्रसिद्ध वैज्ञानिक और समारोह के विशिष्ट अतिथि प्रो यशपाल शर्मा ने कहा कि शिक्षकों को हमेशा बच्चों की जिज्ञासाओं को शांत करने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए ताकि उनमें विज्ञान के प्रति रुचि बढ़ सके। गुजरात को पहली बार इस कांग्रेस की मेजबानी मिली है।

Children's Science Congress

National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) provides the children of 10 to 17 years from all over the country an unique opportunity to use their scientific temperament and knowledge to make their own dreams come true. The program was initiated in 1993, with the following objectives

• To provide a forum to the young scientists to pursue their natural curiosity and to quench their thirst for creativity by experimenting on open-ended problems;
• To make you feel that science is all around and you can gain knowledge as well as solve many problems also be relating the learning process to the physical and social environment of the neighbourhood;
• To encourage children throughout the country to visualise future of the nation and help building generation of sensitive, responsible citizens;
• To stimulate scientific temperament and learning the scientific methodology for observation, collection of data, experiment analysis arriving at conclusions and presenting the findings.

NCSC is held annually from December 27-31. After a thorough scrutiny at district and state levels, about 500 children take part in this five day long deliberations and fun-filled science activities
